TildArt EcoLuxury
Fashion designer Matilda Janosi combines recycled materials with high quality luxury materials to create a unique “Eco Luxury” style. Matilda was born and raised in Transylvania where recycling is a way of life. It is this ethos, combined with her talent as a fashion designer, that has driven her to create unique fashion products using recycled materials.
One of the main materials in TildArt’s is recycled bicycle inner tube. This is combined with natural latex and inlaid with Swarovski Crystals. Matilda sources have used bicycle inner tubes from bicycle repair shops in East London. All of Matilda’s items are handmade in the TildArt Studio in Hackney, London and all materials are sourced in the UK.

2009 Moved from Transylvania to Budapest, Hungary with the aim of starting her own fashion brand.
2012 Matilda arrived in London with a great dream – to establish TildArt as a viable business. At first she worked as a rickshaw driver in Central London. This was hard physical work but gave Matilda the chance to meet very interesting people and gain some funds to start establishing the brand. It also provided her with the inspiration to recycle the hundreds of discarded inner tubes at the Rickshaw base to create fashion!
2013 Matilda was invited to show two of her collections at the Canadian Eco Fashion Week in Vancouver. This gave her the confidence to move forward with the business.
2014 Matilda's journey led her to a studio in Hackney, London where TildArt Eco Luxury continues to invent a new way of looking at fashion.
