asalon.hu is an independent online magazine covering film, fashion, design, culture, and lifestyle, all interpreted through a contemporary lens. Our aim is to present inspiring, thought-provoking, and visually refined content that reflects ongoing creative processes and social phenomena.
The platform was founded by Vanyovszki Mária in 2016. Initially, its mission focused on showcasing contemporary fashion designers and promoting sustainable alternatives in clothing, with an emphasis on ethical and conscious consumption.
As part of its renewal, asalon.hu has expanded its scope and now explores a broader spectrum of contemporary culture. The editorial perspective is brought to life by a new generation of Gen Z editors, who contribute fresh viewpoints, актуal questions, and a dynamic tone to the magazine.
asalon.hu is an open space for dialogue, where visual and cultural trends are not only presented but also interpreted and placed into context.
