Artista
The Artista Studio was founded by six talented designers: Katalin Imre, Juli Ivan, Abel Köves, Nora Rácz, Edina Schön and Kati Stampf in Budapest, in 1993.
From the beginning, the designers' aim was to create a unique mood and image that they have been constantly renewing.
Artista has its own production background; besides producing their “one offs”, they also make clothes to order in their own workshop and produce limited ranges of designs by resorting to outside sub-contractors.
Artista has organised a lot of its own fashion shows in Budapest and abroad, in which the display of styling elements, the venue, lighting, models, make up etc. have been attributed a major importance, beside the collections. The Artista clothes and shows have received a wide media coverage in Budapest, Vienna and London.
Building on creativity and professional experience, the activities of Artista have expanded to creative areas such as film & commercial styling, event management & concepts.
