The collection is characterized by the atmosphere of hot summer days, the Moroccan landscape and rustic textiles gently covering the body.
Natural linen and airy cotton materials are the foundations of the looks. The cuts gently follow the shape of the body, giving space to the freedom of movement, just as we love to wear our most comfortable, swinging summer dresses in the summer heat.
The natural sand colors are intensifyed by the orange shades of sunset that is emphasized by its complementary blue pair.
„It is particularly interesting for us now how can we mix traditional patterns and forms of different cultures. Moroccan decorative art has Islamic roots that can be spotted on the buildings in the form of geometric patterns, but it also appears in the art of textile. The sleek style of the FIBULA woman is spiced up with these elements during the upcoming season.”
The delicate, precise details play an important role in the HEAT collection, such as the hand-made fringes, knotting, bead-decorations, the star shape hidden in the pattern, or the usage of vivid blue ropes as an accessory. Patterns appear in different forms throughout the collection, all made with artisan techniques, like the free-painted printed pattern, the striped pattern made with rotation of the materials during sewing, or the motifs created from multiple style of textiles.
