Established in Budapest in 2009 the designer ready-to-wear label, ANNAEVA, has come to be synonymous with versatile yet powerful femininity. Founder Eva Karpati, a textile engineer, first worked in knitwear production and later opened her own studio where she designed and sold wedding gowns and other bridal wear. After attending a course at Parsons School of Design in New York, she enrolled in Krea Contemporary Art School, where she graduated in 2010, and has drawn the attention of the Hungarian fashion world with her debut collection.
Eva loves to work with fine materials, such as delicate silks and state of the art fabrics made with the latest technologies. With her seasonal collections, ANNAEVA dresses the modern, cosmopolitan woman. She reinterprets classical forms with fresh, youthful energy. Innovative textiles, unexpected fabric combinations, clean lines and detailed craftsmanship are the key characteristics of these very feminine yet comfortable dresses.
ANNAEVA has received numerous accolades over the years, and was presented by fashion and women’s magazines. In 2010 the brand won the profession's most prestigious award, Fashion Awards Hungary - The Young Fashion Designer of the Year. Eva was also nominated as the Fashion Designer of the Year at the GLAMOUR Women of the Year Gala in 2012.
ANNAEVA is sold by numerous retailers in Hungary, and is seeking foreign distributors and retail partners worldwide. The label launched it's e-commerce store in 2015.
